DARQ Rockwool Insulation Board is a resin-bonded stone wool (rockwool) board and slab engineered for thermal insulation, acoustic control and fire protection in buildings and industry. Made from molten basalt stone wool bonded with a thermosetting resin, it holds its shape, resists fire up to 750°C, and stays stable through years of service. Available in densities from 48 to 144 kg/m³, in plain or aluminium-foil-faced form.
Product Overview
Rockwool boards (also called stone wool slabs) are produced by spinning molten basalt rock into fine fibres, then bonding them with resin into a rigid, dimensionally stable board. The result insulates against heat and sound while being completely non-combustible — one material covering thermal efficiency, acoustic comfort and passive fire safety. Higher densities give greater rigidity and compressive strength for load-bearing and industrial duty. Explore our full range of mineral wool insulation.
Key Technical Features

Why DARQ Rockwool Board
Stone wool does three jobs in one board — it blocks heat, absorbs sound, and won’t burn. Being non-combustible, it adds genuine fire safety to a structure rather than just insulating it, and its water-repellent fibres hold performance in damp conditions where other materials fail. DARQ supplies project and OEM quantities with full documentation, in the density and facing matched to your actual duty — not generic stock.
