DARQ Rockwool Pipe Section is a pre-formed stone wool (rockwool) pipe cover for insulating hot pipework. Made from long, non-combustible rock fibres bonded with a thermosetting resin, each section fits snugly around the pipe, resists fire up to 750°C, and installs in minutes. Supplied to fit pipe diameters from 0.5" to 14", in densities of 128 and 144 kg/m³.
Product Overview
Rockwool pipe sections (also called stone wool pipe covers or SPC) are rigid, pre-shaped half-shells moulded to the exact pipe diameter, with a snap-fit slit for quick installation. They deliver excellent thermal insulation and dimensional stability on steam lines, process piping and hot equipment, while being completely non-combustible. Manufactured to ASTM C547 and IS 9842.
